Porters Snow Sports School
Not quite ready to conquer Big Mama? No worries – at Porters we want everyone to get the most out of their time with us, no matter their skiing ability.
Porters is a great place to learn. Our internationally qualified instructors are friendly and fun. And they know not only how to get beginners moving with ease, but how to refine the techniques of the more advanced.
Back for her 4th winter season at Porters, Katharina Klein, oringinally from Germany returns to our Snow Sports School for 2010. She will work along side Pete Beets, also returning, working together to run the Porters Snow Sports School this winter. Pete returns as head coach of the Porters Race Team, endeavoring to build on the successes achieved with the team in 2009.
Porters Snow Sports School - 2010 lesson times
Lessons with the Porters instructors are available at the following times, please check with the Porters ticket office if you are unsure or have an alternative request. If you require a group lesson, you need to be here one hour before your lesson starts to confirm your booking. Please note that all group lessons take place at the Snomat carpet lift or intermediate platter lift. Lessons venturing further on the mountain are private lessons for either individuals or private groups.
Beginners
10.00am to 12.00pm - Beginner Ski or Snowboard
1.00pm to 3.00pm - Beginner Ski or Snowboard
Intermediates (2nd time)
10.00am to 12.00pm - Intermediate Ski or Snowboard
1.00pm to 3.00pm - Intermediate Ski or Snowboard
9.00am or 3:00pm - Early & Late Private Lesson
Other times for private lessons can be arranged - please enquire at the ticket office.
